Poolside - Harvest Moon
Poolside is a band that sounds exactly as their name implies. Chilled out, mellow tunes that you would want to listen to when you're, well, poolside. Sorry I had to do it. Anyways, a solid effort here. Just sit back and relax and enjoy the sounds.

Straight fire. This is real music. I don't usually write about real music. I know that. You know that. But, this has so much going on, we have real horns, real drums, and some 70's soul mixed in. I love it. Can't beat it.

I swear to god. Every time these guys put something out it's better than the last thing they did. This continues that trend. Here, they take Smashing Pumpkins' "1979" and strip it down and build it back up from scratch. The result, is wonderful. Light and fluffy, while paying homage to the original from whence it came. Spot on. Again.
